Refund and Cancellation Policy

Effective date: 23 September 2026.

What you're buying

Backstop Pro is a one-time licence for a Chrome extension. There is no subscription, so there is nothing to cancel: you pay once, and the licence does not expire or renew.

Refunds

If Backstop Pro isn't what you expected, you can have a full refund within 14 days of purchase, no reason required. After 14 days we'll still refund if the extension doesn't work as described and we can't fix it for you.

How to request one

Pro licences are sold by Paddle as Merchant of Record, so Paddle processes refunds and issues them to your original payment method. Either route works:

• Email hello@smallhours.works with your Paddle receipt or order number, and we'll ask Paddle to refund you.
• Contact Paddle directly through the receipt they emailed you, or at paddle.net.

Refunds normally appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

After a refund

Your licence key stops being valid for support, and we ask that you stop using Pro features. The free version of Backstop, including plain export of all your saved sessions, remains yours to keep.
